Threshold Aviation Inc. respects your rights to privacy and confidentiality. Threshold Aviation will not provide any customer information to third parties.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address & credit card number, expiry date and CVD (Card Verification Digits)
Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
We will collect and use of personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive and for Threshold Aviation Newsletter purposes only. You may unsubscribe at anytime. Addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Credit card numbers are not kept on file for any reason, to protect the privacy of our clients.
We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
Purchase Terms & Conditions
SHIPPING: If Threshold Aviation ("we") has your product(s) in stock, we will email you a shipping notice confirming that the items have shipped and are en-route to you; that notice is our acceptance of your order. In-stock orders (excluding Scheduled Delivery items) normally ship within 2 business days of placing your order. Training posters are often shipped direct from the manufacturer. This may result in delays of up to 5 business days. You will be updated with a tracking number once we have confirmation.
Out-of-stock orders will ship once the item is back in stock. We will send you the shipping notice once the item is back in stock and has been shipped. How soon you receive the product(s) depends on the shipping method you have chosen.
We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale or sold.
THE FOLLOWING CLAUSE IS INAPPLICABLE IN QUEBEC. We reserve the right at any time to reject, correct cancel or terminate any order for any reason whatsoever. If the price of any product you order was incorrectly displayed on our Web Site, we will provide you with an opportunity to place an order at the correct price.
The total price of your order will be charged to your credit card when our shipping notice email has been sent to your email address. If you wish to cancel an order, you may request a cancellation by logging into your account and canceling your order or by calling 905.673.3315
We may not receive and process your cancellation request before we accept and ship your order, in which case your cancellation request may not be effective. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a product you have purchased, we will gladly give you a full refund (minus shipping costs) or exchange if you return it to our store within 30 days after you receive it in its original condition (including all packaging, accessories and manuals). All shipping charges associated with returns and exchanges are the buyers responsibility. Return For online returns, the 30 day time window begins on the date of delivery (when you receive your item).
For your convenience, we also accept returns in our Toronto retail store, please contact us for further assistance.
Your electronic invoice is required for both in-store and mail returns. In the event that a returned order has any packaging, manuals, accessories, blank warranty cards or other items missing, the return may be refused, or we may deduct the value of any of the missing items. Shipping charges are non-refundable; however, we will refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective. Due to copyright laws, computer software, DVDs and videos in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same item.
We rely on the information you provide through the Web Site, including registration information (name and email address), payment information (credit card numbers and expiration dates), and transaction-related information, which must be true, accurate, current and complete. You will be solely responsible and liable for any and all loss, damage, and additional costs that you, we or any other person may incur as a result of your submission of any false, incorrect or incomplete information or your failure to update your registration information and payment information within 30 days of any change.
Simulator Booking Policy
Simulator booking cancellations must be made a minimum of 24hrs before the scheduled session. Bookings cancelled with less than 48hrs notice are subject to a $25 per hour booked fee will be charged.
Simulator Use Policy
Threshold Aviation's 737NG Simulator device is designed to simulate the Boeing 737-800 in virtually all aspects. The simulator requires a specific level of attention and ability and as such the minimum age of all users is 10 years of age. Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The simulator can accommodate a maximum of 2 Pilots and 2 Observers.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund and all return items must be in original packaging. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in certain cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Threshold Aviation ships primarily with Canada Post, FedEx and UPS and other courier services. We can ship to virtually any address in the world.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Items damaged or lost during shipping will be refunded to the customer once the insurance claim has been processed and received from the shipper. This is only if the shipping method has an insurance coverage (ie courier, or express methods)
The customer assumes all responsibility for any customs fees, taxes, and courier brokerage fees that may be charged upon receipt of their shipment from Threshold Aviation.
Note to international customers choosing surface mail for their orders: Delivery times for International surface mail and surface mail small pack can take up to 12 weeks for delivery.
International surface mail and small packet air are NOT traceable or insurable. The buyer assumes all responsibility on lost or damaged items using those methods.
